I’ve been working with brands for over 30 years, first as an ad agency account man but for the bulk of my career as a qualitative research consultant. There’s hardly a field I haven’t worked in, from AIDS to alcohol, beer to betting and from cars to computers. Before going freelance a few years ago, I ran my own company for nearly two decades, and I’ve seen inside a huge range of businesses, most of them household names. So, over the years, I’ve learnt how things work and developed some clear ideas about how they could work better. Some of them you’ll find here.
But that’s just the day job; there’s an old house, an organic garden, four kids and a music blog to keep going too. I like being busy.
